Caldifos Suspension 1 Liter

COMPOSITION
Caldifos Oral Suspension (Vet): Each mL contains- Calcium 1628 mg, Magnesium 100 mg, Phosphorus 838.50 mg, Vitamin B12 100 mcg, Vitamin 03 8000 IU.
Caldifos Injection (Vet): Each 100 mL contains- Calcium Gluconate 20.8 gm, Magnesium Hypophosphite 5.5 gm, Dextrose Monohydrate 20.0 gm, Chlorocresol 0.1 gm.

MECHANISM OF ACTION
Calcium is vital for healthy bones and teeth where along with phosphorus, it brings rigidity and shape to these structures. Magnesium improves the digestibility of feed. In animals, it has improve the reproduction. In Broilers, it increases weight gain, and egg production of Layer hens. Vitamin B12 plays a primary role in the synthesis of proteins and the production of red blood cells. Vitamin 03 is required to promote Calcium absorption, which helps to maintain healthy bones and teeth.

INDICATIONS
Caldifos is indicated for effective control & treatment of: Milk Fever, Hypomagnesaemia, Neonatal Hypoglycemia, and Lactation Tetany of Female animals, Ketosis of Ruminants and as a supportive to Anthelmintic.

DOSAGE AND ADMINISTRATION
Caldifos Oral Suspension (Vet): Cattle & Buffalo: 100 mUday, Sheep & Goat: 25-50 mL; twice daily, Poultry: 5 mL/1-2 L of drinking water daily.
Caldifos Injection (Vet): Cattle & Buffalo: 200-350 mL, Sheep & Goat: 25-50 mL.
Or, as per directions of Registered Veterinarian.

CONTRAINDICATIONS
Not Applicable.

PRECAUTIONS
Caldifos can be toxic in high doses.

SIDE-EFFECTS
There is no prominent side-effects of this drug while used in recommended dosage.

USE IN PREGNANCY & LACTATION
It is safe in pregnancy & lactation.

IN CASE OF OFFSPRING & CALVES
Can be used in case offspring & calves as directed by Registered Veterinarian.

DRUG INTERACTION
Vitamin may alter the effect of other medications, therefore Caldifos affect other medications' potency.

WITHDRAWAL PERIOD
Meat & Egg: 00 (Zero) Days.

STORAGE
Store at a temperature not exceeding 30°C. Protect from light. Keep all medicines out of reach of children.
