Extracts of St. John’s Wort 10%

MODE OF ACTION

Andrographis paniculata: The main active ingredient of Andrographis paniculata extract is Andrographolide that inhibits the growth of bacterial and fungal pathogens. Andrographolide boosts the immune system through lymphocytes, macrophages and NK cells infiltration as well as increasing phagocytosis and stimulating the interferon synthesis. It might exert its anti-inflammation effect through stimulation of the adrenal gland.

St. John’s Wort: The active ingredients of Saint John’s Wort (Hypericum perforatum) extract are hypericin, pseudohypericin, quercitrin, quercetin, heperoside. They can bind nonspecifically to viral and cellular membranes and can result in photo oxidation of the pathogens to kill them.

Duavis vet can be used for the following of Poultry:

DOSAGE & ADMINISTRATION

1 ml/2-3 liter drinking water Or, 1 ml/25 kg body weight Or, 8 mg/kg body weight

Or, as per direction of registered Veterinarian / Poultry Consultant.

PRECAUTION

Andrographis paniculata & St. John’s Wort solution should not be administered 12 hours before/after vaccination.
