Composition:

Mode of action:

Whey powder consists of Carbohydrate (lactose 70-75%), Protein 10-13% (beta-lactoglobulin, alpha-lactalbumin, bovine serum albumin & immunoglobulin), Ash 7-12%, Calcium, Thiamine, Riboflavin, Pyridoxine etc. Whey powder is the major source of protein which is necessary for milk production.

Grape sugar or D-glucose absorbs directly into the bloodstream during digestion and acts as instant energy source.

Others - Calcium carbonate, sodium chloride, sodium phosphate, potassium chloride make electrolyte balance & stress.

So, Lacstar powder provides instant energy, protein and necessary minerals for faster recovery from parturition stress and also to maximize upcoming lactation.

Dosage & Administration:

In post parturient cow (immediate after calving) 0.5 – 1 kg per animal diluted in 5 - 10 liters of luke warm water. This dosage can be repeated after 12 hrs if the animal is very weak.
