Composition:

Salmon Gonadotropin Releasing Hormone Analogue – 20mcg, Domperidone I.P. – 10 mg &

 Propylene Glycol – q.s.

How it works:

It elicits the release of stored gonadotropins from the pituitary. The dopamine inhibitor (Domperidone) serves to remove other inhibition of GnRH release. Release of stored pituitary gonadotropins may aid spawning by stimulating ovulation and permeation in sexually mature fish.

Indication:

Ovasys is a liquid peptide preparation that contains an analogue of salmon gonadotropin releasing hormone (sGnRH) and a brain neurotransmitter (dopamine) inhibitor.

A Gonadotropin Releasing Hormone Analogue (GnRH Analogue) is also known as a Lutenizing Hormone Releasing Analogue (LHRH Analogue). It is designed to interact with the GnRH receptor and modify the release of pituitary gonadotropins, FSH & LH.

Dosage and administration:

Dose will be varied on the basis of breed and size of the fish.

Or as directed by the registered Fisheries officer.
