Vitamin E or Selenium deficiency in poultry and farm animals. Prevention and treatment of muscular dystrophy (White Muscle Disease, Stiff Lamb Disease) in poultry, cattle, sheep and goats encephalomalacia, exudative diathesis, decreased egg production and decreased hatchability of eggs in poultry.
Action
Vitamin E: Antioxidant, preventing or slow down formation of free radicals and hyper-per oxides from poly-unsaturated fatty acids.
This decrease in peroxide formation has a stabilizing effect on cell membranes containing poly-unsaturated fatty acids.
Selenium: Trace elements, reducing tissue peroxides and stimulating immunity response. Interaction with Vitamin E is sometimes synergistic, sometimes partially substitutive.
Dosage & Administration
Poultry:
Prevention: Sel-E ® Vet 1 ml per 4 litres of drinking water for 5-10 days.
Treatment: Sel-E ® Vet 1 ml per 2 litres of drinking water for 5 days.
Cattle & Buffalo: Sel-E ® Vet 1-2 ml per 10 kg body weight for 5-10 days.
Precautions for use
Once the product is mixed, it must be administered within the mext 24 hours. Do not administer by parenteral route (Injectable).
Keep the product out of the reach of children.
Storage
Store in a cool & dry place protected from light. Keep out of the reach of children.
