DFN Vet Solution 100 ml

DESCRIPTION 

DFNTM Vet Solution belongs to 3rd generation fluoroquinolone with broad

spectrum bactericidal antimicrobial activity towards gram positive, gram

negative bacteria and mycoplasma. It is dedicated for veterinary use.

COMPOSITION

Each mL contains Danofloxacin Mesylate INN equivalent to Danofloxacin

50 mg.

MODE OF ACTION

DFNTM Vet solution is bactericidal drug, actively killing bacteria by

inhibiting bacterial DNA gyrase or the topoisomerase IV enzyme, thereby

inhibiting DNA replication and transcription.

INDICATIONS

DFNTM Vet is indicated for the treatment of following diseases of poultry:

• All kind of digestive tract infections caused by gram positive, gram

negative bacteria

• All kind of respiratory tract infections caused by mycoplasma

• Secondary bacterial infections of viral diseases.

DOSAGE & ADMINISTRATION

Poultry: 1 mL / 2 Liter (5 mg / kg body weight) water for 3-5 days.

Pigeon and Pet bird: 1 mL / Liter water for 3-5 days.

Or, as per directions of registered Veterinarian / Consultant.

CONTRAINDICATIONS

Danofloxacin is not recommended for use in the case of resistant

bacteria to other fluoroquinolones.

STORAGE

Store at or below 30 °C temperature. Keep away from light & wet place.

Keep out of reach of children.

SIDE EFFECT

Danofloxacin may result in hypersensitivity reaction causing lameness.

WITHDRAWAL PERIOD

Meat: 5 days.
