Ectonil-Vet Powder 5X10 g

Composition: 

 Each gm powder contains Metrifonate USP (Trichlorfon) 1 gm.

Indication:

Biting and sucking lice, mange mites, fleas, flies, red avian mites (Dermanyssus avium, D. gallinae). Scaly leg mites (Cnemidocoptes mutans). Skin larvae of Hypoderma bovis, Hypoderma lineatum, Dermatobia hominis, stomach bots (Gasterophilus spp), Tick and roundworms (Hump Sore).

Dosage & Administration:

1        Cattle, pig, horse, sheep, and goat : Wash or spray treatment of the whole animal; repeat after 5 days. Concentration 0.15% solution (1.5 gm per 1 liter of water). Oral administration: 50-75 mg/kg body weight.

2        Poultry: carefully spray or dip the fowl for 1 - 2 minutes. Spray also floors, walls, ceiling, nests, windows, doors and the other sites where the parasites or flies gather. Concentration 1.5 gm per 1 liter of water.

Or, used as per prescription of Veterinarian.

Contraindication:

Patients with a history of hypersensitivity to Metrifonate USP (Trichlorfon).

Use in Pregnancy and Lactation:

Ectonil-Vet Powder has not been shown to produce reproductive or teratogenic effects. But, DO NOT administer to lactating dairy cows.

Adverse effects:

No adverse effects are expected if this product is used in accordance with the label. Some symptoms of overexposure that can arise are: blurred vision, weakness, giddiness, sweating, muscular twitching, spasms, miosis and respiratory paralysis. Skin: can be absorbed through skin. May irritate the skin. Eyes: may irritate the eyes.

Storage:

Store in a dry and cool place. Protect from light. Keep out of reach of children.
